Pear Rosemary Sangria
Makes 6 servings
Ingredients:
- 1 navel orange, sliced
- 1 bartlett pear, sliced (plus some extra slices for garnish)
- 1 cinnamon stick (optional)
- 1 bottle dry Spanish wine
- ⅓ cup brandy
- ⅓ cup Root 23 Pear Rosemary Simple Syrup
- ⅓ cup orange juice (optional)
- Rosemary sprigs, for garnish
Directions:
Add the orange slices, pear slices, cinnamon stick (if using), red wine, simple syrup, and orangejuice to a large pitcher and stir to combine. Feel free to omit the orange juice if you like yoursangria stronger and less sweet. Place the pitcher in the fridge to chill for at least 1 hour. Oncethe sangria is finished chilling, pour it into glasses with ice and garnish with pear slices androsemary sprigs.
